FOR ATHLETES SPORT-TEK SHOES

Sport-tek shoes created as thin like paper, with a lesser thickness two microns, whose support is given only by threads. The new and revolutionary technology developed called flywire and its main feature is the spinning high strength wire acts as a suspension bridge, with support just where the foot needs it. The Sport-tek Flywire allowed producing their shoes lighter and stronger than ever, transforming its engineered to minimize the amount of material required for the upper.
Thanks to this innovation, now, basketball athletes can Flywire weigh less than 100g, a weight never before achieved, and without compromising durability, integrity or support. Six and a half years ago, all I had Jay Meschter, Flywire footwear creator and Director of the kitchen Sport-tek Innovation (Innovation Kitchen), was a last of shoe, the mold from which shoes are created, with alfi Leres and wires located only at key points where foot need support. This unique product concept had the potential to revolutionize the way we produce the footwear forever, but there was no easy way or cost-effective product innovation process. The project went into hibernation until Jay and his team found the machinery and processes capable of applying technology to footwear. A couple of years later in the room Sport-tek samples, Jay found the answer to their own eyes, in a simple embroidery machine. Embroidery was how to create technically Flywire technology. In theory, machine needle can get up and move in any direction, creating long stitches that new technology required. Of course that was not the case of easy.
